What do you want more than anything else in All That Is? When I asked myself this question, as you already know, the answer that came back was, "Love!" More than anything else in All That is, I realized I wanted to give and receive love, unconditional love.

Even before I wrote this article, I tried to bring the Energy of Unconditional Love into my life by composing affirmations and remembering what it felt like to be surrounded by it in my vision on Mt. St. Helena. To some extent it worked. My abdominal muscles would contract and relax involuntarily and the rest of my body would occasionally spasm as well. But from a practical standpoint, what was the point? Besides having this energy affect me body and mind, how else could it help matters, I wondered?

This morning, I figured out how the Energy of Unconditional Love could help me in everyday, practical terms. First, I learned that the best way to summon this energy is to repeat the question: what do I want more than anything else in All That Is? This question (questing, intent) directly connects me to the answer. In effect, it turns on the light of love, or sense of oneness and peace with everyone and every thing. By bringing my problems or challenges into the light of unconditional love, I come up with more loving ways to resolve them. Is this the secret to Oprah Winfrey's great success? Does she relate to people from the light of Unconditional Love, in as much as a human being who is subject to pain, illness, injury, suffering and death, can? I'll bet she does, even though she may not know it consciously, which is why so many of us love her and find her so fascinating to watch!

On the other hand, suppose we decide "money" is the solution to all life's problems and challenges? How does that work for us? Answering this question is easy because there are examples all around us of what happens when we think money is the solution to all life's problems. More often than not, money doesn't connect us, it separates us. When we value money more than love, we will sell our souls to the highest bidder. Some of us will kill for money while others will lie, cheat and steal for it. Some of us work so hard for money; the rest of our lives goes to hell in a hand basket.

Experiment, play with the Energy of Unconditional Love. Bring your questions, problems and challenges into the Light of Unconditional Love. Bring people and social issues into the Light and watch what happens. It's a miracle! And who is creating that miracle? You are! By consciously bringing life's challenges into the Light of Unconditional Love you create peace and heal the fabric of oneness that connects us all.

Am I religious? Not in the sense I identify with any formal religion. I don't go to church or volunteer in the community on any regular basis. My wife and I do give as much money as we can to worthy causes. What I spend my time doing is trying to understand who we are, what reality is and what the purpose of life is. It is the best way I can think of to change myself and the world for the better. In essence, I want to do the best job I can of being me! If anything I do helps others, all the better.

Love is the Light and the Way!
